Breaux turns the vineyard into an island-themed festival with Laura Farrell from 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM, Tropical Attitudes from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Caribbean music, food vendors, craft vendors, and a pop-up tent decorating contest. It is the strongest all-afternoon pick if you want music, wine, and food in one place.

Tickets are listed at $20 for the general public, $15 for club members, and $10 for children. Admission includes a souvenir glass and tropical lei. No outside food.

Saturday, July 11; gates at 6:00 PM, first match at 7:00 PM Morven Park International Equestrian Center, Leesburg

Arena polo under the lights is the most distinctly Loudoun Saturday-night plan. Bring a picnic or use the food vendors on site, then settle in for the matches. It works for families, groups, and date nights.

Use the event entrance off Route 15. Passes are non-refundable unless Morven Park cancels for weather. Pets are not permitted.

The named Summer of Sunflowers festival starts this weekend, with wagon rides to the fields, cut-your-own blooms, the farm play area, and a field bar open Saturday and Sunday. Sunday is the calmer move if Saturday is already full.

Cut-your-own sunflowers are $1 per bloom in addition to farm admission. The farm says to arrive by 3:30 PM for the last wagon ride at 4:00 PM.

Tarara's final season continues with The Bridge and Elizabeth's Furnace on the Shadow Lake stage. If the series has been sitting on your summer list, this is the year to stop putting it off.

Concerts are held rain or shine, and bands can change. Online general admission is listed at $20 for guests 21 and older and $10 for guests under 21, plus fees and tax.

Melissa Quinn Fox brings country and Americana to the Town Green for the free Saturday-night option. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and make it the low-cost alternative to polo or Tarara.

The town cancels the show in bad weather rather than moving it indoors. Pets and smoking are not permitted.
