Saturday is packed. Keep a weather backup.

This is a strong family weekend with trucks, potatoes, carnival rides, and hands-on history. Saturday night adds free music, Fleetwood Mac songs at Tarara, and an indoor Journey tribute. Rain chances are in the forecast all weekend, so start outdoor plans early and keep Tally Ho or another indoor option ready.

Also worth knowing

01

Moonlight Market and Justin Trawick Duo

Friday

A low-friction Friday with local makers, free live music, dinner nearby, and the carnival a short walk or drive away.

02

Leesburg Summer JAMS: Johnny Kasun's Jim Croce Tribute

Saturday

The free Saturday-night option downtown. Bring a chair or blanket, and pair it with Revolutionary Stories Family Day if you want to keep the whole day in Leesburg.

03

Dirt Farm Summer Sundays with Luke Johnson

Sunday

A simple adult afternoon if the weather cooperates: free live music on the mountain, beer, and the brewery's weekend lobster roll special.

Three ways to plan it

01

If you have kids who like trucks

Go to Great Country Farms Saturday morning while Big Rigs is running, then use the One Loudoun carnival after dinner if everyone still has energy.

02

If you want a full Leesburg Saturday

Start with Revolutionary Stories Family Day, get dinner downtown, then choose the free Jim Croce tribute, The Seven Wonders at Tarara, or Trial By Fire at Tally Ho.

03

If weather decides the plan

Use Friday evening or Saturday morning for the outdoor pieces. Keep Tally Ho as the ticketed indoor option, and treat Sunday afternoon plans as weather-dependent.
