Save Sunday for the outside plans.

Friday and Saturday are full, but both carry late storm chances. Use Friday for an easy close-to-home or indoor option, watch the radar for Saturday's biggest events, then take advantage of a drier Sunday for donkeys, flowers, or local history.

№ 01
Saturday

TASTE Leesburg

Official details

The biggest all-in-one pick this weekend. Five downtown blocks fill with local food, beer, wine, shopping, and two stages of entertainment, so it works for a full evening or a shorter walk-through before another plan.

General admission is free. The optional tasting ticket for guests 21 and older costs extra. Street closures and storm chances will affect parking and timing, so check Town updates before leaving.

№ 02
Sunday

Donkeys, Donuts, and DIY Wildflowers

Official details

The most distinctive Sunday option: make a wildflower bouquet, decorate a donut, sip a Sassy Soda, and meet the farm's miniature donkey herd.

The official ticket page currently lists the experience at $60, and spots are limited. The last mini herd encounter begins no later than 11:45 AM.

№ 03
Saturday

Tarara Summer Concert Series: Slippery When Wet

Official details

The big outdoor rock option for Saturday night. Slippery When Wet brings the Bon Jovi catalog to Tarara for an all-ages show with room for chairs, blankets, and a picnic.

Tarara lists concerts as rain or shine and all ticket sales final. Online general admission is $20 for guests 21 and older and $10 for guests under 21, plus fees and tax. Door prices are higher for guests 21 and older.

№ 04
Saturday

Loudoun United FC vs. Charleston Battery

Official details

The straightforward sports pick and a strong group outing. Hometown Heroes night recognizes local service members, first responders, teachers, healthcare workers, and other community helpers.

This is a ticketed home match. Buy through Loudoun United's official schedule and check weather updates before leaving.

№ 05
Sunday

Monroe at the Mill: The Enslaved at Oak Hill

Official details

A focused one-hour local history program on the lives and experiences of people enslaved at James Monroe's Oak Hill estate, with a live portrayal of Monroe and discussion from three historians.

Admission is $20 cash for adults, and students are admitted free. The program is held on the main level of the merchant mill.

Also worth knowing

01

One Loudoun Summer Strings: Caleb Hacker

Friday

An easy Friday music option close to dinner and shops. It is outdoors, so check the late-day storm timing before you go.

02

Polo in the Park at Morven Park

Saturday

The final scheduled polo night of the season, with arena matches, tailgates, food vendors, and a view from the grass. Weather cancellations are posted by 4:00 PM.

03

Tally Ho Theater weekend shows

Friday or Saturday

The indoor storm backup: Nektar plays Friday, and Bulletboys with The Blues Vultures plays Saturday.

Three ways to plan it

01

If you want the main event

Make TASTE Leesburg your Saturday evening. Arrive early enough to park outside the busiest blocks, then decide whether the radar supports staying through the night.

02

If you want music or sports

Choose one Saturday night ticket: Slippery When Wet at Tarara, Loudoun United at Segra Field, or the final Polo in the Park. Keep Tally Ho as the indoor fallback.

03

If you want the best weather window

Use Sunday. Donkeys, donuts, and wildflowers runs through noon, and Monroe at the Mill starts at 1:00 PM, so the two can fit into one western Loudoun day.
