Use Friday and Saturday before Sunday gets messy.

This is a plan-ahead weekend. Friday is easy, Saturday is loaded, and Sunday looks wetter, so do the outdoor stuff early. Start with Peach Fuzztival and sunflowers in Bluemont if you want the family plan, then pick one evening between Tarara, polo, Loudoun United, or Leesburg's free Town Green show.

Friday

NSLM Open Late 2026: Krystal King

Official details

A free lawn concert with free museum admission, free parking, and an easy Middleburg dinner or walk nearby. This is the cleanest Friday pick if you want something simple.

Picnics are welcome, but no glass containers or outside alcohol. Concessions are available and leashed pets are allowed. Bring chairs and check the weather before leaving.

№ 02
Saturday or Sunday

Peach Fuzztival at Great Country Farms

Official details

The best daytime family pick this weekend: peach treats, farm play, contests at 1:00 PM, weekend sunflower fields, and nearby Bluemont Vineyard or Dirt Farm if the adults want to stretch the trip.

Online admission is $14 for adults and $12 for children plus a $1 ticketing fee. Gate admission is $16. Children 2 and under are free. There is no U-pick peach crop this year because of a late freeze, but peaches are available in the Farm Market. Sunflowers are $1 per bloom.

№ 03
Saturday

Tarara Summer Concert Series: The Legwarmers

Official details

The big Saturday night music choice. The Legwarmers are the draw if you want an outdoor 80s show with a full picnic-blanket crowd.

Tarara lists concerts as rain or shine and all ticket sales final. General online admission is $20 for 21+ and $10 for under 21, plus fees and tax. Door admission is higher for 21+. Check availability before driving.

№ 04
Saturday

Polo in the Park at Morven Park

Official details

A very Loudoun Saturday night: arena polo, tailgates, food vendors, and a relaxed watch-from-the-grass feel. Pick this if Tarara sounds too packed.

General admission, tailgate, and rail box passes are nonrefundable and nontransferable unless the event is canceled because of inclement weather. Watch the Saturday night forecast.

№ 05
Saturday

Loudoun United FC vs. Hartford Athletic

Official details

The sports pick of the weekend, especially if you want a straightforward group outing. The theme is Kick Childhood Cancer, A Night for Hunter.

This is a ticketed home match. Buy through Loudoun United's schedule page and check the forecast before leaving.

Also worth knowing

01

Leesburg Summer JAMS: Amanda Miller & Jesse Thorpe

Saturday

Free downtown concert. Bring a chair or blanket. Picnics are encouraged, pets and smoking are not allowed in the grass listening area, and weather can cancel the show.

02

One Loudoun Summer Strings: Jason Masi

Friday

Free Friday music at One Loudoun Park. It is all ages, but alcohol is not allowed in the park.

03

Cascades Farmers Market

Sunday

A quick Sunday errand before the wetter part of the day. Local farmers, bakers, artisans, and SNAP accepted.

04

Tally Ho Theater weekend shows

Friday through Sunday

Indoor backup if the forecast pushes you out of outdoor plans: Mike Love on Friday, Andy Frasco & the U.N. on Saturday, and aurorawave on Sunday.

Three ways to plan it

01

If you want the easiest weather plan

Do a free Friday concert, then hit Peach Fuzztival early Saturday. Save Saturday night for the outdoor event that still looks good when you check the radar.

02

If you want the big Saturday

Make Bluemont the daytime stop, then choose one evening plan: Tarara for music, Morven Park for polo, Segra Field for soccer, or Town Green for a free concert.

03

If Sunday is your only window

Keep it short and early with Cascades Farmers Market. If storms stick around, look at Tally Ho for an indoor evening option.
